Cardiac Rehabbers Support Group Fund

Donations to this fund provide grant money to qualified persons enrolled in or to be enrolled in Kishwaukee Community Hospital's cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.

At the invitation of the Health Foundation, the Cardiac Rehabbers Support Group Fund came under its management in September 2007. The fund was started by Alberta DeQuin in March 2006 and so far has provided cardiopulmonary rehabbers $3,882 in scholarships.

Since the beginning of the program, the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Organization has matched money raised by the Rehabbers' annual fundraiser. These matching funds have totaled $2,500.
