Unrestricted (general) Donations

Unrestricted donations allow the most flexibility in furthering our healthcare mission.

Cancer Care Funds

In 2001, two funds were created to provide financial assistance for indigent DeKalb County Kishwaukee Health System patients for complementary medical care. The Thebeau Charity Cancer Care Fund was created by Bob and Ashley Thebeau on the occasion of his retirement as President and CEO of the Kishwaukee Health System. The Baack Charity Cancer Care Fund was created as a memorial to Wolfram Baack by his friends and family.

The Thebeau Charity Cancer Care Fund was created by Bob and Ashley Thebeau on the occasion of his retirement as President and CEO of the KishHealth System. Upon reaching a $50,000 balance, the fund will be used for treatments, diagnosis, procedures, medications, and/or wigs for qualified DeKalb County patients.

The Baack Charity Cancer Care Fund was created as a memorial to Wolfram Baack by his family and friends, and is in place to provide funding for indigent KishHealth System patients who cannot afford to purchase needed complementary cancer medications to ease physical pain and the side effects of radiation and/or chemotherapy treatments, or medical supplies.

Memorial Gifts or Honorariums

Gifts to honor or memorialize individuals may be made as either unrestricted or restricted gifts to any of the KHS organizations. You may designate whom to send the acknowledgement.

Kishwaukee Community Hospital is humbled to accept donations in honor or memory of loved ones. These contributions may be made as either unrestricted or restricted gifts. Please call the Foundation office for information, or click to make an online donation as a Memorial Gift/Honorarium.
