KCH 100 Friends for Life Annual Giving Club

Through Friends for Life KCH 100 membership, community people have contributed more than $1.7 million since 1981. These donations have allowed medical and technological advancement at KCH. We've purchased a fetal monitor, Cardiac Rehab equipment and lab equipment to name a few. Future funds will continue to help purchase healthcare equipment and technology as well as support our unrestricted endowment fund.
Leaves on the KCH Tree and Forest of Life represent gifts to the Friends for Life KCH 100 Annual Giving Club. The first Tree of Life, created by renowned artist Sanford Werfel, was dedicated in 1985 in memory of Doris "Dodie" Baack, and graces the hallway on the Garden Level near the Doug & Lynn Roberts Conference Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. Also located here are the new trees in our Forest of Life, sponsored by the KCH Auxiliary. Each leaf represents a gift of $1,000 while each stone represents a gift of $10,000.
As a Friend for Life you may have a leaf inscribed and placed on a tree in our Forest of Life when you have reached the $500 donor level. The balance may be satisfied through your continued membership over the next five years.
Leaf inscriptions may memorialize loved ones or recognize special events in your life.
